Erica: Florals & Event Design
Hey there, I’m Erica: I focus on design, florals and the creative details that create the look and feel of our events. I founded Paper Hearts & Co. (now, Leigh and Mitchell) in 2010 after years of working in the floral design industry. With a keen eye for innovative design, and a love for figuring out logistics, I’m passionate about ensuring each of our events match our client’s dreams for them.
I gravitate toward lush organic, garden style florals and greenery, but I also love to keep things modern.
With a creative background in design, I also enjoy creating our large scale design elements, like hand-lettering or watercolor signage. You can find my work featured in publications such as Style Me Pretty, Ruffled, and Wedding Chicks.
Fun facts about me are; that I am a coffee-addict, macaron enthusiast, avid cookbook-collector who loves the color white. When I am not working, I enjoy playing the violin and singing in a band at my church, hanging with my husband, or spending time in my kitchen cooking up something from one of my many cookbooks.
Hannah: Lead Planner
Hannah, here! I’m passionate about weddings because they’re a day when everyone you love is in one room to celebrate YOU! I’m so honored every time I get the privilege of making your special day as stress-free as possible.
I’ve been a wedding planner in the Seattle area for the past nine years, and became certified with the Wedding Planning Institute in 2009. Since then my hobby has blossomed into a business, and it’s one I truly love. You can find my work featured in publications such as Hey Wedding Lady, Seattle Bride Magazine, and Borrowed and Blue.
I love each and every special moment of a wedding day; from the bride slipping into her dream dress, to the tear-filled eyes of the bride’s father when he walks her down the aisle, to the look on the groom’s face when he sees the woman he’s fallen in love with call him “husband” for the first time. I want to make sure these special memories are the ones you remember the rest of your life—first dance, to frosting smeared across the groom’s face.
When I’m not wedding planning you can find me outside with my husband and daughter, reading a good book, or pinning delicious recipes on Pinterest!
Leighanne: Senior Associate Planner
Hi there, My name is Leighanne! I am a Texas girl, a wife and a mom of two. I primarily work with our South end clients.
My favorite part of this business is making memories that last a lifetime. After I’ve fluffed a bride’s dress, fixed her hair and veil, and sent her down the aisle to her future husband, I always turn my eye to the groom as he watches his gorgeous bride coming toward him. Seeing that deep emotional connection in the groom’s eyes—that’s the reason we celebrate.
I’ve been working in the event industry since 2008, using skills learned from the very best to coordinate and plan dozens of events. I’ve also had the pleasure of having weddings featured in publications such as The Knot and Modern Bride. Over the past eight years I’ve honed my skills for focusing on the smaller details, so my clients can effortlessly enjoy the big moments. Helping my clients see their vision of a perfect wedding become a reality is my life’s true passion.

Rebekah: Associate Planner
Hello, I’m Rebekah our North end associate wedding planner. My primary focus is on our “Month of Planning” services. I have been working in the event industry for the past 5 years receiving on the job training and working side by side with Hannah as her assistant. A few years ago, I began taking on my own clients as well as planning events and conferences for my church.
I love building relationships with my clients and getting to know them through the planning process ensuring that their personal style comes out on their wedding day from their décor, food, to dancing all while keeping the day fun and stress-free. Everyone’s wedding should go as they have planned and dreamed it to be and it is my job and goal to make those dreams come true.
One of my favorite parts of the wedding day is the part in the ceremony where the bride and groom say their vows, especially when they write them to each other, its such a special and intimate moment that everyone gets to witness and be a part of. I feel honored every time I get to partake in a clients wedding day.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, baking cupcakes, and adventuring in the beautiful pacific northwest!

Kirsten Danielle: Associate Planner
Hi, my name is Kirsten Danielle! I have had a deep love for all things “wedding” since I was a young girl! My mother worked in weddings, and I would sit in the meetings she would have and dream of the day I might take over the family business.
I got my start by assisting my mother as she coordinated weddings. My favorite things to do when helping my mother were helping situate the brides for pictures, handing the bride her bouquet for the very first time, and listening to all of the beautifully written vows.
I have now been coordinating weddings on my own for the past few years! I joined the Leigh and Mitchell team in Spring 2017, and I spent the season assisting Hannah with coordination. I am also very excited to have recently earned my Wedding Planning Certification, and I am endeavoring on “Month of Coordination” projects this year as an associate planner. It is a huge honor to be a part of such an important day in the lives of the couples I work with, and I love the way I get to be a part of that with Leigh and Mitchell.
Fun Facts about me; I’ve collected The Knot magazines since 2010, I am a glitter enthusiast, I love a good pazookie, and I will be the first one to invite people over for a get together!
