Tip #2: Don’t Abuse The Open Bar. One of the most important things about weddings is making sure all of the focus is on the bride and groom. If there is an open bar at the wedding you’re attending, that can be great. However, if you get a little too tipsy (or a lot too tipsy) and cause a scene, it’s rude, tacky, and embarrassing. Don’t be that person! Exercise self-control, and wait until you’re out casually with your friends. Also, it is important to note that open bar does not mean FREE! Someone is paying just not YOU! The bride and groom are providing your cocktails for the evening so be mindful they are doing this for you and all their other guests which can be costly. There’s a time and a place to unwind and let loose, and someone else’s wedding is not the time nor the place. Let’s keep it classy!
